Ceremony for awarding degree to students in ATP Course 50

On August 29th 2014, UTC held an awarding degree ceremony to students who have successfully completed their course in Advanced Training Program in Transport Construction Engineering (ATP) Course 50. Rector Prof. Dr. Tran Dac Su and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long were at the ceremony with other leaders as well.

Dr. Trinh Quang Khai, Deputy Director of International Education Center, presented an overview report on students’ studying process and their activities. ATP was a 5-year undergraduate training program cooperated with University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Most of lecturers of the program who got their PhD degrees from foreign countries were good at English also. The requirements for the students were to complete their course and also get an English level at TOEFL 550 when they finished the course. For this time, 38 students successfully completed their graduate thesis of which 1 student was excellent, 6 students were very good, 26 students were good and 5 students were ordinary level.

On the speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Tran Dac Su honestly expressed his gratitude to the lecturers who tried their best effort to implement the new education model. He also expected each and every the students, who just been new engineers, to regularly improve his knowledge and moral to contribute good things to society and also keep a good impression of UTC.
