Farewell party for international students

In the morning of Wednesday on December 13th 2017, the International Education Faculty – University of Transport and Communications (UTC) held a Farewell party for exchange students from France who studied in the Advanced Program and High-quality program in the first semester of academic year 2017-2018.

In this semester, the International Education Faculty (INED) has received 11 students from French universities such as Marne-la-Vallee, ESITC Caen, ESTP Paris. The Farewell party was organized with the aim to understanding the study situation of exchange students as well as saying goodbye to them before they finished the exchange term at the INED.  

The exchange program is the program for exchanging students from international partners of University of Transport and Communications and International Education Faculty. Taking part in the program, exchange students have the opportunities to experience, explore the new living environment, exchange professional knowledge and know about an exciting, colorful culture of Vietnam. Besides, the program also brings chances for students to meet, make friends and enrich foreign language and communication skills. The program contributes to further enhancing the cooperation between UTC and universities all over the world in the field of education, from which developing the cooperation more comprehensively and integrating with international universities as well as developing the education career of the University.

Attending the party included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh - Dean of INED; Dr. Pham Thi Lan Anh - Vice Dean of INED; Dr. Tran Viet Hung - Vice Dean of INED and INED’s lecturers, staff and students; particularly 11 exchange students.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh - Dean of International Education Faculty made a speech to congratulate the exchange students who have completed the semester, presented souvenirs and sent her message to French students in which she expected them to be “Ambassador” to connect INED of UTC with French universities. 

Sharing their decision to participate in the exchange program at International Education Faculty, these students expressed their gratitude to INED for supporting a lot during the semester. They also talked about their interest experiences and their trips to discover the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam while living and studying here. They were very impressed by Vietnamese country and people, especially students and lecturers of INED, which will be unforgettable memories for exchange students. They expected to have a chance to return to Vietnam in the near future.
