Signing ceremony between UTC and National Center for Technological Progress

National Center for Technological Progress (NACENTECH), Ministry of Science and Technology which was established in 1984 is a main force institution carrying out scientific research, application and technological transfer activities in many fields. At present, the number of its staff is nearly 300, in which there are many scientists that have high profession standard were educated in foreign countries with advanced technology standard.

Realizing that the implementation of cooperation between the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and NACENTECH is necessary in order to develop strong points of each side, to support each other meeting the social demands, the signing ceremony between UTC and NACENTECH was organized at the UTC on April 11th 2014. Participants in this ceremony include the Rector of UTC, the Director of NACENTECH and leading representatives of two sides. Pursuant to the Agreement, two sides will collaborate to organize training courses to improve professional standard for scientific staff, to create favorable condition for each side’s scientific staff to give lectures, supervise graduation theses and to attend graduation thesis assessment for the other side if required. Besides, two sides will also promote cooperative scientific research and hold scientific seminars as well as speed up the exchange of scientific information and other issues two sides are interested.

The Agreement is the foundation to promote the cooperation between the University and the Center for the development of each side.
