Developing the cooperation in education and research with universities in France

From March 25 to 30, 2019, at the invitation of universities in France, the delegation of the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) led by Rector Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long paid a working visit to partner universities of the UTC in France. This visit aims to build and develop the cooperation in joint undergraduate and master programs, student exchange programs with universities under AUF, and in the overall development strategy of the University as well as of International Education Faculty.

Rector Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long and Dean of International Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh visited and worked with 5 universities in France including: ESITC Caen, EM Normandie, INSA Rennes, Université du Havre and UPEM.

At the same time, during the business trip, the delegation had a cordial meeting with the Vice Mayor of Caen City. The Vice Mayor was very happy to welcome the delegation and warmly supported the educational cooperation between the UTC and the universities located in Caen city.

Based on the visit, some new joint training programs will be implemented in the International Education Faculty from the academic year 2019-2020 as follows:

     1. Joint undergraduate program in Civil Engineering 2+3 with ESITC Caen

     2. Joint undergraduate program in International business 3+1 with EM Normandie

     3. Joint master program in International management 1+1 with EM Normandie

     4. Joint master program in Civil Engineering 0.5+1 with INSA Rennes

France is the country with the sixth highest education in the world, students will receive a lot of incentives when studying in France such as supporting 70-100% of tuition fee, 50% of accommodation and food support. Job opportunities in France are always open to students after graduation. Hopefully, in the coming time, through the joint training programs of the International Education Faculty, students will learn and experience in a modern environment with reasonable costs.
