International student exchange with National Institute of Technology, Maizuru College, Japan

Following the success of the student exchange seasons in the past years, in the afternoon of November 14, 2018, at the University of Transport and Communications, there was an exchange of international students with enthusiastic participation of students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Faculty – University of Transport and Communications and more than 30 students, lecturers of Department of Control Engineering - National Institute of Technology, Maizuru College, Japan.

In the framework of the exchange, students of the two institutions introduced and exchanged Vietnamese and Japanese culture with vivid and interesting illustrations; introducing about their institutions and fields of study. The students also showed their dynamism and confidence through traditional music performances, modern and youthful dances; Japanese Origami paper folding art.

At the end of the exchange, Japanese students were taken to visit the UTC’s campus, library, classrooms, football field, and take photos. After that, two institutions’ students had dinner at the university’s canteen.

After the dinner, students parted in a rusty, nostalgic atmosphere. This must be a beautiful memory for Japanese students about the affection, the friendliness of the students of the University of Transport and Communications in particular as well as the Vietnamese people in general, thereby contributing to creating good impression on the country and people of Vietnam in the heart of international friends.
