Singing MoA on IoT training program with Keysight Technologies Singapore (Sales) Pte. Ltd.

In the afternoon of April 26, 2019 at the University of Transport and Communications (UTC), the Signing Ceremony for the MoA on IoT Training Program between University of Transport and Communications and Keysight Technologies Singapore (Sales) Pte. Ltd. was held.

Attending the signing ceremony included the delegation of Keysight Technologies Singapore (Sales) Pte. Ltd. led by General Manager of Asia-Pacific Lawrence LIU; Director of ASIC technologies Co. Dao Manh Hung – key partner of Keysight in Vietnam. For the UTC, Rector Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long and representatives of heads of functional units including International Cooperation Department, Science and Technology Department, Undergraduate Education Department, Center for Science and Technology in Transport, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty, Information Technology Faculty attended the ceremony.

Keysight Technologies Singapore (Sales) Pte. Ltd. is the world’s leading technology company providing services and creative development in the field of internet and electronic products.

Through discussions and working sessions between representatives of Keysight, ASIC Company and International Cooperation Department and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty of the UTC, the two parties realized that the two-party cooperation program should be promoted in the field of student training in IoT (Internet of Things). This is a new field of science that is of interest in the world. Based on this cooperation, the two parties seek financial support to establish an IoT Laboratory located at the University of Transport and Communications to develop intelligent transport system; At the same time, supporting the training of a number of university’s lecturers to teach students' training courses; Selecting students of the university to be trained and issued the certification with Keysight and UTC brand, proceeding to the student training courses conducted by the university’s lecturers

The UTC assigned Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty to be responsible for implementing the contents of the MoA, which is a good opportunity to open IoT training courses for students, enabling students to be equipped with knowledge about this field upon graduating from the university.
