Vietnam – Japan International Student Exchange, 2017

This is the 9th student exchange meeting between two universities since 2009. This year, Maizuru National Institute of Technology sent a delegation of 43 students and 3 lecturers in charge of the delegation to exchange the culture with UTC’s students. Preparing carefully for the exchange meeting, students of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the UTC made excellent art performances and dance, creating a lively, exciting and young atmosphere according to student styles, showing the confidence and fluency in English. That is a good thing for students of Mechanical Engineering Faculty in particular and students of University of Transport and Communications in general. After the meeting, students of two universities took part in a friendly football match, showing the capacity of playing football and finishing the draw score 5-5. Even though very tired after the match, students were still so glad and excited to have the Vietnamese student meal together. They openly shared with us “It was so grateful to two universities for giving us the great chance to exchange and explore the culture, country and people of Vietnam and Japan, playing together like under a university”. Although said “See you again” but their bus did not want to leave.
