Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Transport and Communications and TEDI

On January 9, 2026, the University of Transport and Communications and Transport Engineering Design Inc. – Joint Stock Company (TEDI) signed a cooperation agreement on training, recruitment, scientific research, and technology transfer.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong – Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc – Vice President; along with leaders of functional units, scientists, and lecturers.

Representing TEDI were Mr. Pham Huu Son – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Dao Ngoc Vinh – General Director; together with representatives of specialized departments, centers, and key engineers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dao Ngoc Vinh – General Director of TEDI – affirmed that over the years, TEDI and UTC have maintained a close and effective cooperative relationship, particularly in training and utilizing technical human resources. Many generations of engineers graduating from the University of Transport and Communications are currently working at TEDI and play key roles in major national transport engineering design consultancy projects.

The signing of this comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding not only demonstrates the long-term commitment between TEDI and UTC but also contributes to improving the quality of education, research, and the application of science and technology, thereby meeting the increasingly high demands of developing Vietnam’s transport infrastructure in the new stage.

On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong – Secretary of the Party Committee – expressed pride in contributing to the training of technical human resources for TEDI. He also expressed confidence that the practical cooperation agreements between the two institutions will be effectively implemented and help address key challenges facing the transport sector in the new stage of development, thereby contributing to the overall development of the country.

Within the framework of the signing ceremony, TEDI also donated VND 50,000,000 to the scholarship fund of the University of Transport and Communications.
