Faculty of Construction Engineering, formerly known as Institute of Science and Technology for Transport Construction was officially established on April 28^th 2004. Up to now, the whole Faculty has 03 departments:

• Department of Construction Materials
• Department of Urban Infrastructure Engineering
• Department of Civil Structural Engineering

The scientific research priorities of the faculty are:

• High-performance and green building materials with possible applications in the transportation and civil engineering.
• Hybrid and lightweight structures for efficient application of high-performance materials in construction engineering.
• Novel methods in analysis of modern the structure.
• Simulation and analysis of structure behavior under special loads such as earthquakes, wind, fire, etc.
• Multi sensor system for health monitoring of structure
• Multi sensor system for fire management in building (in cooperation with TU Darmstadt)

Annually, Faculty of Information Technology manages about 1000 students.
