Faculty of Electrical - Electronic Engineering was officially established on November 3, 1998 under Decision No. 4304/QD-BGD & DT-TCCB of the Minister of Education and Training, formerly known as Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Up to now, the whole Faculty has 06 departments:

• Department of Electronic Engineering
• Department of Telecommunications Engineering
• Department of Cybernetics
• Department of Communication Engineering
• Department of Traffic Control and Automation
• Department of Electrical Engineering

Annually, Faculty of Electrical - Electronic Engineering manages about 2000 undergraduate students, 100 graduate students and 20 PhD students.

2. Achievements

The Faculty has been awarded 01 third-class Labor Medal by the State (in 2013), Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister (in 2008), Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training (in 2005, 2010, 2013). , 2015, 2016), Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Transport (2013, 2015) and Emulation Flag (2018).
