Signing Memorandum of Understanding with Tongmyong University, Korea

On January 10, 2024, the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Tongmyong University (Korea) held a signing ceremony of memorandum of understanding between the two universities, opening up many opportunities for academic exchange and joint training for lecturers and students from both sides.

The representative of UTC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung - Vice President chaired the reception, discussed and signed the MoU with the delegation of Tongmyong University led by Dr. Ho-Hwan CHUN - President. Receiving and working with the delegation were representatives of the Department of International Cooperation and Development Studies (ICDS), Student Affairs Department; Leader of the Faculty of Transport - Economics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Faculty of Information Technology.

Tongmyong University is a large university in the Port city of Busan, Korea's leading industrial city. The university has strengths in training majors: business administration, logistics, information technology, and mechatronics. These are fields that are very suitable for the core training and research fields of the University of Transport and Communications.

After the signing ceremony, Dr. Ho-Hwan CHUN, President of Tongmyong University, shared about the need for human resources for development in Korea, training programs for international students, reality and real-life educational philosophy of Tongmyong University. These are truly valuable opportunities for teachers and students to have more information and opportunities about their ability to study and research in Korea.
