Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Transport and Communications, Thang Long Group, and Fecon Corporation

On the afternoon of November 14, 2024, the University of Transport and Communications signed a cooperation agreement with Thang Long Group and Fecon Corporation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung – Standing Vice President of the University, noted that this was an important event, marking a new step in the University's partnership with businesses in the construction industry.

In the recent years, the University of Transport and Communications has implemented many comprehensive solutions in training, scientific research, and community service. With the core values of "pioneer, quality, responsibility, and adaptability", the University always emphasizes its responsibility to lead in scientific research and technology transfer. At the same time, it strengthens cooperation with leading science and technology enterprises for mutual learning and development. "The ultimate goal is to create the best products in training and technology to serve society," Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung emphasized.

During the signing ceremony, the leadership of Thang Long Group and Fecon Corporation committed to welcoming students from the University for internships and employment. From this cooperation agreement, the businesses aim to further promote scientific research and apply research results into practical use.

With the spirit of genuine cooperation, the parties hope that ideas, plans and projects will soon become reality, bringing benefits to the community.

According to the cooperation agreement, UTC will organize training courses for railway engineers (in the field of transportation construction engineering) for staff members of Thang Long Group and Fecon Corporation.

Additionally, the University will provide high-quality human resources in transportation construction engineering for the two aforementioned companies. The companies will offer internship opportunities and real-life professional experiences for the University's students in the field of transportation construction engineering.

Furthermore, all parties will collaborate on scientific research topics and technology transfer according to the companies' needs. The businesses will provide scholarships for students, sponsor some activities of UTC, and offer domestic and international experts with practical experience to participate in training and research activities at the University, upon request.
