VATM Scholarship Award Ceremony – Empowering Dreams

On January 20, 2026, the VATM Scholarship Award Ceremony – “Empowering Dreams” of the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation was held for students of the University of Transport and Communications.

Leaders of the two organizations took a commemorative photo with the scholarship recipients.

Attending the scholarship award ceremony, on behalf of the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), were Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – Deputy General Director, along with leaders of relevant functional units. On behalf of the University of Transport and Communications (UTC), attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc – Vice President, representatives of relevant faculties and departments, and the scholarship recipients.

In this round, 16 scholarships with a total value of VND 70 million were awarded by the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation to students of the University of Transport and Communications.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc, Vice President of the University, stated that the scholarship not only provides practical financial support but, more importantly, serves as timely recognition and encouragement for students with outstanding academic achievements, strong determination to overcome challenges, and a serious commitment to self-improvement. It also reflects the enterprise’s social responsibility and its profound interest in contributing to the training of high-quality human resources for the country.

The University of Transport and Communications and the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation are both key institutions within the national transportation system. The cooperation between the two organizations has created and continues to create many practical opportunities for students. This represents an effective model of collaboration between the university and enterprises, which the University of Transport and Communications consistently values and actively promotes.

For the students, these scholarships are the result of their continuous efforts in study and self-improvement, and also represent the trust and expectations placed in them by the University and the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation. It is hoped that the students will cherish this support, continue striving, nurture their aspirations, and further enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional competence so that they can make meaningful contributions to the transportation sector and society in the future. Over the years, the Corporation and the University of Transport and Communications have established and maintained a close and effective cooperative relationship, particularly in the field of education and human resource development. The Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation always regards investment in education, knowledge, and the younger generation as a long-term and sustainable mission. The VATM Scholarship – “Empowering Dreams” continues the strong tradition of cooperation between the two organizations. It reflects both the appreciation for the students’ academic efforts and the confidence that the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation places in them as the future leaders and contributors to the nation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien expressed his confidence that these scholarships will provide students with additional motivation to study, develop themselves, and nurture their aspirations. Among the students present today, some may become engineers, technology experts, and future colleagues within the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation, working together to build modern aviation infrastructure, contribute to safeguarding Vietnam’s airspace, and ensure the safe and smooth operation of flights.

Nguyen Thi Van Anh, a student from the Vietnamese-English Information Technology Engineering Class cohort 62, on behalf of the scholarship recipients, pledged to use the scholarship for the right purposes and in an effective manner, considering it a strong motivation to continue striving in their studies and personal development. She also affirmed that the students will always maintain a strong sense of responsibility and a spirit of learning in order to live up to the care and support provided by the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation.
