An overall view of the event

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi, Head of the Organizing Committee and Editor-in-Chief of the Hanoi Economic and Urban Newspaper, stated that the "For the Capital's Traffic Safety" communication program in 2025 was assigned by the Hanoi People's Committee to be organized annually in collaboration with the City Traffic Safety Committee, the Department of Construction, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, and the Hanoi City Police. This is the 15th year the program has been widely implemented throughout Hanoi. 2025 also marks the third consecutive year that the program will feature two parallel competition formats: a multiple-choice quiz and a writing competition, both held online. This helps to innovate the content and approach and increase the effectiveness of traffic safety law education.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi expressed his hope that following the launch ceremony, the results of the 2025 program would be even more successful. The "For the Capital's Traffic Safety" communication program in 2025 will continue to play an important role in raising public awareness and understanding of traffic culture.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi called on all staff, students from universities and colleges, and citizens to enthusiastically participate in the "For the Capital's Traffic Safety" writing competition in 2025, and especially called for the strong participation of students from the University of Transport and Communications and other universities in the Capital.

In support of the "For the Capital's Traffic Safety" communication program in 2025 from the Hanoi People's Committee, M.Sc. Nguyen Van Khoi, Secretary of the University's Youth Union, committed that the youth of the University of Transport and Communications will synchronously implement many practical and impactful activities. In particular, in response to the "For the Capital's Traffic Safety" writing competition in 2025, UTC students will actively participate with a sense of responsibility. They will contribute articles about real-life stories and bright examples of traffic culture, as well as practical initiatives and solutions to reduce traffic congestion and accidents. By spreading the message through their articles, each page will not only be an idea but also a voice and a concrete action to raise social awareness. The competition is also an opportunity for students not only to learn and practice writing skills but also to show their civic responsibility, contributing the intellect and initiatives of youth to the cause of ensuring traffic order and safety in the Capital.

M.Sc. Nguyen Van Khoi, Secretary of the University's Youth Union, delivers a speech

Over the past few years, the "For the Capital's Traffic Safety" communication program has truly proven its widespread reach. The participation of hundreds of thousands of students in online writing and multiple-choice competitions is clear evidence of the strong interest and support from the younger generation. This is not just a competition to enhance knowledge and skills; it is also a forum for the Capital's youth to demonstrate their civic responsibility, creative spirit, and aspiration to build a civilized, safe, and friendly Hanoi.
