The University of Transport and Communications signs a cooperation agreement with Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation

On the morning of January 21, 2026, at the headquarters of Viettel Post, a cooperation signing ceremony was held between the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation.

Attending the signing ceremony on behalf of the University of Transport and Communications were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc, Vice President, together with leaders of functional units, representatives of the Faculty of Transport Economics, and lecturers from the Departments of Transport Economics and Tourism, Highway and Urban Transport, Railway Transport and Economics, and Transport Planning and Management.

On behalf of Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation, attendees included Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy General Director, along with leaders of departments and product units under Viettel Post.

Overview of the Signing Ceremony

The University of Transport and Communications and Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with the following contents:

- Cooperate in research, development, and application of solutions and technologies in the fields of logistics and transportation.

- Conduct research, make proposals, and gradually build an ecosystem for education, research, and innovation closely linked with industry practice.

- Organize knowledge-sharing activities, training, and capacity-building programs for human resources in the fields of logistics, transportation, supply chains, digital transformation, AI, and Big Data.

- Cooperate in researching and piloting technological models and solutions to support the logistics and transportation operations of Viettel Post.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc, Vice President of the University, affirmed that the two institutions share many similarities, and that the University of Transport and Communications always places strong emphasis on linking education with practical needs. Viettel Post, as a pioneer in digital transformation and the development of a logistics ecosystem, demonstrates through this cooperation its corporate responsibility in contributing to the training of high-quality human resources for the country. In the coming time, the University will continue to introduce adjustments and improvements to its training programs to better align with emerging trends. In this process, feedback from enterprises will be highly valuable, particularly regarding training content that integrates both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. In addition, the University’s team of researchers will accompany the enterprise in developing programs, conducting research, and proposing solutions to address practical needs, thereby fostering mutual development.
