Sponsoring ceremony of engine and gearbox between Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. and University of Transport and Communications

On October 27, 2023, the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. solemnly held a ceremony to award engines and gearboxes to serve the training of mechanical engineering students of the University.

Attending the ceremony, from Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd., there were Mr. Bui Quoc Minh - Head of Purchasing Department, Ms. Vu Thi Hai Yen - Head of E&SC Department, Ms. Pham Thuy Lan - Supervisor of Human Resources Department and company engineers.

From UTC, there were Ms. Bui Thi Giang - Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Development Studies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Hien - Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Khuong Thi Ha - Head of the Department of Engine Machinery, lecturers and students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Giang respectfully thanked Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. for always accompanying and supporting the UTC's training work, and pledged to coordinate well with faculties and departments to use the gift for the correct purpose of the donor, promoting effectiveness in training.

The representative of Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Mr. Bui Quoc Minh said that through the donation of these gearboxs and engines, Ford Vietnam wishes to contribute to promoting the field of training domestic high-tech human resources, facilitating conditions for students to have access to and have practical skills on modern machinery and equipment that are being and will be applied in practice. From there, it helps students - future engineers - have solid professional knowledge and confidence, ready for the modern working environment.

This is not the first time Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. has sponsored engines and gearboxes as visual teaching aids to UTC. Along with practical meaningful sponsoring activities that help UTC have more equipment for training, Ford Vietnam also creates conditions for the UTC's students to practice and prioritize recruitment after graduation. Also at the ceremony, Ford Vietnam's leaders had an open discussion, providing a lot of information about the situation and development strategies, recruiting human resources in the field of automotive mechanics with final year students of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The ceremony ended successfully with expectations for more practical and effective cooperation activities between Ford Vietnam and UTC in the future.
