Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony Between the University of Transport and Communications and Leading Technology Corporations at the University-Industry Linkage Forum
On August 25, 2025, in Da Nang, within the framework of the Forum on University-Industry Linkages, the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with three leading technology partners: Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. (MEVN), CT Group JSC, and Ericsson Vietnam Co., Ltd. The forum was hosted by the Ministry of Education and Training, in collaboration with the University of Da Nang and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the "Australia and Vietnam Partnership for Human Resource Development" (Aus4skills) program.
The Forum on University-Industry Linkages was organized to strengthen relationships between universities and businesses with the theme “Tri-party Cooperation in Training and Research & Development of High-Tech and Strategic Technologies.” The event created an opportunity for relevant parties to discuss and propose solutions to elevate the " Tri-party " partnership, involving the State, Aademia, and Industry. The forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son and representatives from nearly 120 agencies, organizations, associations, and businesses.
Speaking at the opening of the forum, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son emphasized that in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the nation's push for industrialization, modernization, and deep international integration, the task of developing science and technology, innovation, and high-quality human resources is a key and decisive factor. To effectively implement the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, it is essential to further promote close links among stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. In this regard, the "Tri-party" cooperation - where the State provides orientation and creates institutions and policies, the Academia fulfills its mission of training, researching, and developing knowledge, and the Industry has the capacity to apply, transfer technology, and create products and economic value - is the "golden key". This collaboration will help realize policies, fulfill missions, and solve major problems, contributing to the nation’s development in this "era of the nation's rise."
