Successfully organizing a student exchange with Hsiuping University of Science and Technology, Taiwan

On September 5, 2024, an exchange took place between students of the University of Transport and Communications and a delegation of students from Hsiuping University of Science and Technology (HUST), Taiwan.

At the beginning of the student exchange, representatives of the International Cooperation Departments of the two institutions handed over the Memorandum of Understanding that the Presidents of both sides signed in June 2024, marking the official cooperation between the two institutions in the field of lecturer and student exchange, scientific research exchange and technology transfer in the coming time.

The exchange was attended by 28 students from the UTC Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Electrical - Electronic Engineering, along with 18 excellent students from Hsiuping University of Science and Technology. The two universities created a friendly and fun atmosphere through performances, quizzes, and introductions about the universities, majors, and cultures of the two countries.

Ms. Li Shumei, Director of the International Cooperation Department of HUST, said that the core goal of this visit and student exchange is to promote long-term cooperation between the two universities, and further expand educational and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and Vietnam through a specific student exchange plan.

After the exchange, both sides expressed their hope that the two universities will have more cooperation in the fields of student exchange and scientific research in the future.
