The University of Transport and Communications popularizes and applies Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction activities

On December 23, 2023, the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) coordinated with the Department of Construction of Hoa Binh province to organize a conference to popularize and apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction activities according to Decision No. 258/QD-TTg dated March 17, 2023 of the Prime Minister.

Attending the conference were leaders of departments, People's Committees of districts and towns, representatives of the Provincial and District Project Management Boards of Hoa Binh province and scientists from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Transport and Communications.

Following the report of Dr. Nguyen Van Chinh is the exchange and discussion part of the delegates; Many issues stemming from reality were discussed and provided with information by the attending delegates.

The representative of the Department of Construction of Hoa Binh province concluded and agreed on the contents of the report on the necessity, concept, content of BIM, advantages and disadvantages, solutions to apply BIM in the conditions of Hoa Binh province, affirming that the conference is an important premise for Hoa Binh province to apply BIM in accordance with current regulations.
