On August 18, 2022, the University of Transport and Communications received the AUN-QA certificates for 03 academic programs, namely Undergraduate Program in Transport Construction Engineering, Undergraduate Program in Automotive Engineering, Undergraduate Program in Control Engineering and Automation.

The assessment of the above programs according to international standards (AUN-QA) at the University of Transport and Communications took place online from May 16 to 20, 2022.

According to the conclusion of the AUN’s assessor team, 03 programs of the UTC implemented an effective quality assurance system. All assessment standards/criteria fully meet AUN-QA's international accreditation standards. These programs achieved a grade point average from 4.0 to 5.0. The AUN-QA has 11 standards including 50 general criteria for all training programs. AUN has adopted a 7-point rating scale for its quality assessment, of which point 4 is adequate as expected; point 5 is better than adequate; point 6 is example of best practices; and point 7 is excellent.

Becoming an associate member of AUN-QA from February 2019 is a favorable condition for the University to have a deeper access to the quality standards of training programs in the region, to accompany other partners in the network to strengthen the implementation of the quality assurance work of the University.

The assessment of 03 academic programs according to AUN-QA standards confirms the University's efforts in perfecting and improving education quality by adopting the recommendations of the assessors.
