Opening Ceremony of the Short-Term Training Course on Basic Knowledge of Railways and High-Speed Railways

On the afternoon of July 15, 2025, the University of Transport and Communications collaborated with Hop Luc Construction Joint Stock Company to hold the opening ceremony for a short-term training course on basic knowledge of railways and high-speed railways. Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc – Vice President of the university – and distinguished leaders of various university units. Representing Hop Luc Construction Joint Stock Company were Mr. Le Anh Dung – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors – along with other company leaders and the trainees of the course.

Overview of the opening ceremony

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Duc – Vice President of the university – emphasized that this is an important event marking a promising new step in the collaboration between the university and the company to train high-quality human resources that meet the practical demands of the transportation sector, especially in the field of high-speed railways.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Anh Dung, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hop Luc Construction Joint Stock Company, expressed his honor and delight in establishing a strategic partnership with the university for implementing training programs, student internships and exchanges, and technology transfer between the two parties. In the context of the country’s push for infrastructure modernization and deep integration, the railway sector—especially high-speed railway—is increasingly affirming its key role within the national transport infrastructure system. Against this backdrop, today’s training course is not merely a short-term program but also a long-term strategic step by Hop Luc Construction and the University of Transport and Communications to strengthen internal capacities, aiming to master large-scale projects and actively contribute to the comprehensive, modern, and sustainable development of the nation’s infrastructure.
