University of Transport and Communications participates in the 2025 Admission Preference Selection Festival
On July 19, 2025, the University of Transport and Communications participated in the 2025 Admission Preference Selection Festival held in Hanoi. The program was organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) and supported by Vingroup Corporation.

At the festival, experts from the Ministry of Education and Training and many reputable universities and colleges provided guidance to candidates on how to identify and set suitable admission preferences, as well as how to adjust and supplement their preferences, to increase their chances of entering their desired schools and majors.
Additionally, more than 300 dedicated consultation booths from universities, colleges, and study abroad advisory centers provided guidance to candidates and their parents, helping them clearly understand how to flexibly apply various admission methods - from high school graduation exam results and academic transcripts to selection based on international language certificates or a combination of multiple criteria...
Within the festival framework, the University of Transport and Communications’ consultation area attracted significant attention from many candidates and parents regarding the university’s training fields. The participating faculty members enthusiastically provided guidance and relevant information to help candidates and parents make the most suitable choices based on their abilities.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can register their admission preferences on the system from July 16 until 5 PM on July 28 (with no limit on the number of preferences). After this deadline, candidates will no longer be able to change their registered preferences. From July 29 to 5 PM on August 5, candidates must pay the application fee online through the system.
From 5 PM on July 23, training institutions will announce the minimum admission scores and the corresponding converted admission scores on the system and on their official websites.
Training institutions will announce the first-round admission results from 5 PM on August 22. Candidates confirm their enrollment online for the first round on the system starting from 5 PM on August 30. Institutions with remaining quotas will announce supplementary admissions from September 1.
In 2025, the University of Transport and Communications will admit 6,320 regular undergraduate students, with 4,500 slots in Hanoi and 1,820 slots at the Ho Chi Minh City Campus.
