Scientific seminar on High-speed railway

On April 9, 2024, at the University of Transport and Communications, a Scientific seminar took place with the topic "High-speed railway technology".

Attending the Seminar were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung - Vice President of University of Transport and Communications; leaders of faculties, departments, experts, and scientists inside and outside the University.

On the side of the organizing unit - Faculty of International Education, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh - Dean, academic advisors and students of high-quality transport construction engineering programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh - Dean of the Faculty of International Education delivered the opening speech at the seminar.

Speakers participating in the discussion shared and exchanged a lot of information about the field of high-speed rail.

Mr. Bui Xuan Hoc, Deputy Director of the Institute of Railway Specialization, Institute of Transport Science and Technology with the presentation: "Application of ballastless tracks on high-speed railways in Vietnam".

Professor Jung Hyuk Sang; Professor Oh Dong – Wook, Department of Railway Engineering Safety, Dongyang University (Korea) with the presentation: "High-speed railway construction technology in Korea".

Prof. Dr. Pham Van Ky - Department of Railway Engineering, University of Transport and Communications with the presentation: "Scientific basis for selecting the speed of passenger trains and freight trains running together on high-speed railways in Vietnam”.

Prof. Dr. Pham Van Ky - Department of Railway Engineering, University of Transport and Communications gave a speech.

Many domestic and foreign experts and scientists shared experiences in developing high-speed railways in a synchronous, modern manner, in accordance with world trends as well as exchanging and answering questions related to training human resources and solutions for High Speed Rail in Vietnam in the future.
