On February 24, 2025, in the exciting atmosphere of spring, the University of Transport and Communications solemnly held a MoU signing ceremony with Chisholm Institute (Australia).
The ceremony began with a passionate speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong - Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council, who emphasized the pioneering role of education in connecting Vietnam and Australia, opening the way to develop high-quality human resources for the country.
The event was also honored to be witnessed by honorary delegates from the Australian Embassy, including the Trade and Investment Counselor and the Director of Trade Development. Under the authorization, the Dean of the Faculty of International Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the University, witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong, representative of the Department of International Cooperation and Development Studies (ICDS), and representative of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
The MoU signing opens up opportunities for extensive cooperation in building a joint training program in the field of engineering technology with two specialized directions: Mechatronics and Mechanical engineering - Manufacturing. The event marks an important step forward, contributing to the modernization of the transportation system, promoting sustainable development and opening up many new cooperation opportunities in training, scientific research and technology transfer between the two countries.
