On July 29, 2022, the Handover Ceremony of Equipment under the Erasmus+ project “Modernisation, Development and Capacity Building of Master Curriculum in Traffic Safety in Asian Universities – ASIASAFE” was successfully held at University of Transport and Communications.

The procurement of equipment is carried out in accordance with the overall plan of the project as approved by the European Union (EU) to serve the teaching, learning and scientific research of the program. Students of the traffic safety engineering master's program will be trained according to the European standard curriculum, research on the HVE, PTV VISSIM copyrighted by Germany and the US. In addition, students also have the opportunity to receive internship scholarships at partner universities in Asia and Europe under ASIASAFE project. It is expected that the University of Transport and Communications will enroll the first cohort in early 2023.

Attending the ceremony were the presence of Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong – Secretary of the Party Committee - Vice President of the University, leaders and representatives of units of the University: Project Development Department, Facility Management Department, Finance and Accounting Department, International Cooperation and Development Studies Department, Faculty of Transport Safety and Environment and lecturers participating in the ERASMUS+ ASIASAFE project.

Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University gave a speech to direct relevant units to coordinate well to manage, maintain, operate and effectively exploit the equipment after handover.
