Traditional Flag Handover Ceremony
On the occasion of the new academic year, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung shared a message with the new students of cohort 66:
“Today is a memorable milestone in your lives, as you officially become students of the University of Transport and Communications—a symbol of pioneering, aspiration, and success. This is both a source of pride and a great responsibility, opening a new journey full of challenges but also opportunities.
The 21st century is witnessing unprecedented changes, as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data, is transforming every aspect of social life. The world has entered a fierce race in science, technology, and innovation, where no one waits for anyone; only those who dare to be faster, more creative, and more determined can rise to lead. Vietnam is at a golden opportunity to affirm its national position on the world map, and you are the pioneering force to turn that aspiration into reality.
The academic journey will certainly not be all rosy; there will be pressure, competition, and even failure. But remember, failure is not the end but a lesson for growth. The most important thing is to maintain your faith, perseverance, and aspiration. When you stumble, rise up stronger; when you succeed, live with humility and spread positive values. I believe that your student life at the University of Transport and Communications will leave you with beautiful memories, giving you the tools to confidently step into life and continue to write the glorious pages of the university's history."
