On April 25, 2022, Prof. Ghazwan Al-Haji - Linkoping University, Sweden, ASIASAFE Project Coordinator visited and worked at the University of Transport and Communications (UTC). The ASIASAFE project "Modernization, development and capacity building of the master curriculum in Traffic Safety in Asian Universities" is a project within the framework of Erasmus+ projects on capacity building in the field of higher education (E+CBHE) funded by the European Commission with the participation of 09 universities:

Linkoping University (Sweden), University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy), University of Porto (Portugal), Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia), Muhammadiya Yogyakarta University (Indonesia), Malaysia University of Science and Technology (Malaysia), University of Malaya (Malaysia), and two universities in Vietnam: University of Transport and Communications and Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

While working at the UTC, Prof. Ghazwan Al-Haji had a meeting and discussed with the members of the UTC’s ASIASAFE Project Management Board and the lecturers participating in the program about the project implementation progress as well as the implementation plan of the activities in the near future.

Prof. Ghazwan also visited the facilities and laboratories of the UTC, especially the site that the University will use to install equipment for the project.
