Wheel ruts can cause danger to vehicles, especially when driving at high speeds, easily leading to loss of control. Meanwhile, waste with plastics such as plastic bags in our country is still a difficult problem in management and treatment. In order to minimize the environmental consequences, this project has found a solution to produce asphalt concrete mixture using plastic waste additives that have the ability to prevent rutting on asphalt concrete pavement, and at the same time contributing to the treatment of plastic waste that causes environmental pollution. This method of construction is simple, using plastic waste additives helps reduce costs by 4.8% compared to using imported additives, thereby saving costs. With its novelty, applicability and effectiveness, the project has been granted an exclusive certificate of useful solution in 2022 by the National Office of Intellectual Property. The solution has been successfully tested on Provincial Road 421B, the section passing through Quoc Oai District, Hanoi.
